Diablo 3 headlines this weekend's Xbox Free Play Days

By Tom West,

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold members will have two games to play for free over the weekend, including Diablo 3, thanks to Free Play Days.

This weekend's Free Play Days is offering both Diablo 3: Eternal Collection and Golf With Your Friends, which will be freely playable until Monday for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

This complete Diablo III experience includes the original Diablo III game, the Reaper of Souls expansion set, and the Rise of the Necromancer pack—all together in one definitive volume.

Golf With Your Friends

Why have friends if not to play Golf... With Your Friends! Nothing is out of bounds as you take on courses filled with fast paced, exciting, simultaneous mini golf for up to 12 players!

You would become an absolute legend for starting the game and unlocking all of the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls achievements in a single weekend, but it's extremely unlikely you'll be able to do it thanks to its estimated completion time of 88-110 hours. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying this dungeon-crawler if you haven't already, though — it's got a TA user rating of 4.5/5 stars for a reason!

Golf With Your Friends is a little redundant if you already subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, as it's been part of the Game Pass library since it launched in 2020, but it's still a great mini-golf game to play with... your friends. It's currently rocking a TA user rating of 3.4/5 stars, and completion estimates hover between 11.5 and 15 hours to earn all of the Golf With Your Friends achievements. There are plenty of guides on here to help you smash through t in a weekend, but you would need to purchase the Bouncy Castle Course DLC to earn the completion.

What do you think of this week's offerings? Is either of them taking your fancy? Drop a comment below and let us know!
