EA announces server closures for four games By Heidi Nicholas, 17 Oct 2022 FollowtopicsServer ClosureHeidi Nicholas EA has confirmed it will shut down the online services for several games early next year, including Mirror's Edge and NBA Jam: On Fire Edition.EA will shut down the online services for NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, Gatling Gears, Shank 2, and Mirror's Edge on January 19th, 2023. EA announces more upcoming server closuresIt looks as though two achievements will be affected in NBA Jam: On Fire Edition when EA shuts down the game's online services in January: the Arena Noob achievement for earning one Arena Medal, and the Arena Vet achievement for earning ten total Arena Medals. There is also the Razzle Dazzle achievement which asks you to sink five Razzle Dazzle shots as a team, but this can be done in Road Trip or Online Arena. NBA Jam: On Fire Edition — which has a completion estimate of between 15 and 20 hours — has also been delisted and isn't available physically. It seems that no achievements in Gatling Gears, Mirror's Edge, and Shank 2 will be affected.
