Resident Evil 4 remake gameplay looks horrifyingly good

Capcom has shown off more Resident Evil 4 remake gameplay, and it looks like the upcoming survival game set to release on Xbox Series X|S in March is shaping up very nicely.

Resident Evil 4 remake launches for Xbox Series X|S on March 24th, and to whet everyone's appetites for the remake of the classic 2005 survival horror game, Capcom has now released new gameplay and story trailers.

The Resident Evil 4 remake extended gameplay trailer treats us to five minutes of new gameplay footage, and visually, it looks absolutely incredible. We see Leon coming across the terrifying Ganados for the first time and new mechanics, such as a new parry ability to deflect melee attacks and finish off enemies with a knife.

Capcom has also announced that preorders for the Resident Evil 4 remake are now live. The standard edition of the game costs $59.99/£57.98/€69.99 and includes the Attaché Case: 'Gold' perk and the Handgun Ammo Charm as bonus content. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99/£65.98/€79.99, and includes loads of extra DLC, such as bonus costumes, charms, and more.

The Resident Evil 4 remake launches for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and PC on March 24th. Sadly, despite it still coming to PS4, the remake appears to be skipping Xbox One.
