Grounded easy achievements method being investigated by Obsidian

By Sean Carey,

A method that allows you to unlock all 37 Grounded achievements in five minutes is currently being investigated by Obsidian.

Earlier this month, it was discovered that players could unlock all the Grounded achievements, worth a total of 2,400 Gamerscore, in about five minutes by using another player's world/save file via in-game methods. Now, Obsidian has caught wind of people completing the game at a blistering pace and is looking into the method.

Grounded five-minute achievement method could be patched out

As per an Obsidian support email sent to TA, the developer is "investigating" the five-minute achievement method. At the moment, the team is unsure if and when "a fix will be deployed" and will share more information at a later date. However, an older email we've seen states that a patch is coming, so we aren't exactly sure what Obsidian is planning to do. Either way, the developer is casting a keen eye over the method, and it could be removed soon.

Once we hear more on this from Obsidian, we'll be sure to update you.
