DLC Roundup: August 31st, 2011

By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
Yesterday's Retail DLC Roundup proved to be a feature that many of you would find useful, so today we continue with what should be the Arcade DLC roundup. Things got a little confusing with the release of yet another piece of retail DLC, but here is a full list of today's DLC:

Pinball FX2 (Xbox 360)
• "Ms Splosion Man Table (Full)" - 240 MSP
• "Ms Splosion Man Table (Trial)" - FREE.

More details here.

• "Forts Pack" - 240 MSP

More details here.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior
• "Sniper Ghost Warrior - Second Strike" - 560 MSP
Sniper Ghost Warrior Second Strike Pack includes an additional single player campaign called "Unfinished Business” with refined AI and new challenging levels. It also introduces a new multiplayer mode (“Capture the Flag”) and three additional weapons: the M200 and L96 sniper rifles and the Desert Eagle high caliber pistol. To put your skills to the ultimate test we also included the Challenge map.
Following the comments on yesterday's article, we're looking for some feedback. Before I start though, I'd just like to make it clear that we will continue to publish separate articles for all DLC with achievements. These will be published on the day of the DLC's release regardless of the feedback gathered below.

The current logic behind separate articles for retail and arcade DLC is that retail DLC is generally released on a Tuesday, with XBLA DLC following on the Wednesday, but some of you thought that individual articles were unnecessary. We're giving two options to you, the readers:

Option 1: We publish individual articles on Tuesday for the retail DLC and on Wednesday for the XBLA DLC (providing that there is DLC released on the Wednesday). You get the news about the DLC releases on the day that it is released.

Option 2: We publish a single collective article on the Wednesday. This accounts for all DLC, but means that the news about any retail DLC without achievements is a day late.

Please could people leave a comment below with their preferred option - these will be taken into account for next week. Thanks!
