Disney Dreamlight Valley hints at Oswald motif for Update 3 By Heidi Nicholas, 23 Jan 2023 FollowtopicsDisney Dreamlight ValleyGameloftXbox Game PassLocal MultiplayerXbox Series X|SSimulationHeidi Nicholas Gameloft has shared a few sneak peeks at what's included in the upcoming Update 3, including "expanded storage management."Disney Dreamlight Valley — which ranks on our list of the best Xbox simulation games is preparing for another update, with Gameloft sharing a few sneak peeks at what's to come with Update 3.Gameloft shares sneak peeks of Update 3 content"We have some great storage quality-of-life improvements coming in Update 3," Gameloft says after polling players about how much they'd like "expanded storage management" to be implemented in the game. To get around the current storage limitations, several players have created dedicated storage rooms within their houses, with chests devoted to gems or other resources, so it's good to see some quality-of-life improvements are on the way.Gameloft also shared an image of a jumper created using the Touch of Magic tool and featuring a new motif which looks to be Oswald, and which will apparently be added in Update 3. Oswald isn't currently a character in the game, and players are already speculating on whether Oswald's appearance will be limited to a clothing motif or whether this image hints at further content such as a theme for the next Star Path. Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in 1927, but as Universal Pictures hung onto the character after Disney's departure, he then created Oswald's hugely famous successor Mickey Mouse (who is also apparently Oswald's younger brother.) The Walt Disney Company got Oswald back in 2006, and, according to a quick check on Wikipedia, his character is available in the public domain as of January 1st, 2023. We don't yet know what the main theme of the next update or Star Path will be, but we'll keep an eye out. What do you think of the Update 3 sneak peeks so far?
