The Lord of the Rings: Gollum gets new release window

By Sean Carey,

It's been a while since we've heard anything on The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, but newly-published financial documents from publisher Nacon have revealed a new release window for the game.

The last we heard on The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was back in July when developer Daedalic Entertainment and publisher Nacon announced a second delay for the stealth adventure game. At the time, a new release date wasn't mentioned, but newly-published financial documents from Nacon reveal that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum "will be released in the first half of FY 2023-24."

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum set to release between April and September

This means we can expect The Lord of the Rings: Gollum to launch for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One sometime between April and September this year. Hopefully, we'll hear more on a specific release date from Daedalic and Nacon soon.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a story-driven action-adventure game. Playing as the sneaky Gollum, you will use stealth, agility, and cunning to venture through locations such as Cirith Ungol, Mirkwood, and Barad-dur tower. The game also features a system that plays off Gollum's dual personality, where decisions you make will directly influence the two sides of Gollum and Sméagol.
