Hugecalf Studios has announced that more than a million players have played Turbo Golf Racing since its launch into Xbox Game Pass last year, and to celebrate the developer has released a free pirate-themed update.

More than a million players have shot down the fairway at high speed in Hugecalf Studios' Turbo Golf Racing, which dropped into Xbox Game Pass last year for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. To celebrate the occasion, the developer has released a free update featuring pirate-themed items and two new levels.

Turbo Golf Racing free update available now

Titled Davy Jones's Putter, the update comes loaded with two new timed events featuring 15 missions — which were previously called Quests — and rewards, which will run consecutively. On top of that, the shop will now stock seven additional items and the Precision Decisions and Mountain Pass levels bring the total count to a whopping 57.

You can check out all of the bug fixes introduced with the update on the Turbo Golf Racing update page, which coincide with a host of tweaks to the overall gameplay experience. The update is available now for all players on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The game is currently in its preview stages, but we hope we'll see the full version launch as one of the games coming to Game Pass later this year.
