Hogwarts Legacy DLC not currently planned, says Avalanche

By Sean Carey,

Developer Avalanche Software currently has no plans to release any Hogwarts Legacy DLC, the developer has confirmed.

Speaking with IGN, Hogwarts Legacy game director Alan Tew said the team was so busy preparing the game for launch that it hasn't planned any post-launch content.

Avalanche currently has no plans for Hogwarts Legacy DLC

"We’ve been really heads down bringing [Hogwarts Legacy] to life," Tew told IGN, "so at the moment, there are no current plans for DLC." Of course, Avalanche Software is still supporting the game with patches and bug fixes, but it seems that any large expansions for the wizarding simulator are not in the works (R.I.P. my hopes and dreams of a Quidditch expansion).

Hogwarts Legacy launched on February 10th for Xbox Series X|S, and our player data suggests it had a stellar debut and is angling for a spot on our list of the best Xbox open world games. We've also recently taken a look at Hogwarts Legacy achievement data to find which is the most popular Hogwarts House.

How are you finding Hogwarts Legacy? Are you disappointed to learn that there are no Hogwarts Legacy DLC expansions in the works? Give us your thoughts down below.
