Halo Infinite Season 3: Echoes Within begins next week, and developer 343 Industries says it will be the game's "biggest multiplayer update" yet, with new maps, a new mode, and more. 343 Industries has dropped a snazzy new trailer for Halo Infinite Season 3: Echoes Within, which kicks off on March 7th. According to the developer, the new season will be a big one for Halo Infinite, bringing with it new maps, a new mode, a new weapon, a new equipment item, cosmetics, and a new 100-tier Battle Pass. In total, three new maps will be coming to Halo Infinite with Season 3: Echoes Within — Oasis, which is a new BTB map, and the two Arena maps, Cliffhanger and Chasm. The update also adds new game mode Escalation Slayer, the M392 Bandit Rifle, and the Shroud Screen, which looks a lot like a smoke grenade. Earlier this month, 343 added Forge maps to Halo Infinite's matchmaking via the Community Collection playlist, and with this update, four more will be added: Art's Room (which looks like a lot of fun), Starboard, Perilous, and Salvation. Update: According to 343 Industries' Forge lead designer Michael Schorr, Art's Room is not actually included as part of the Community Collection playlist. It was apparently shown in the trailer "because of the aesthetics of the map."
