EA reportedly asking fans if they want Dead Space 2 and 3 remakes

By Sean Carey,

Following the success of the Dead Space remake, EA is now reportedly asking fans if they would be interested in remakes of Dead Space 2 and 3 in a new survey.

Developer Dillon Rogers shared a screenshot from the survey EA has supposedly sent out to fans, which asks if they would be interested in similar remakes of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3.

EA reportedly asking fans if they want Dead Space 2 or Dead Space 3 remakes

EA's Dead Space remake was completely rebuilt from the ground up, improving on nearly every aspect of the original game, resulting in high praise from both critics and players. Here on TA, the remake sits with an excellent 4.83/5 from over 300 votes, eclipsing that of sci-fi horror rival The Callisto Protocol's 3.76/5 TA community rating. It's likely that a Dead Space 2 remake will go down well with players, considering that a fair few people out there preferred it over the original game. Dead Space 3, while still good in some aspects, was by far the least popular in the series, but a remake could help bring the third instalment up to scratch with the other games in the series.

If you're yet to check them out, all of the Dead Space titles (minus the remake) are available with EA Play, and they comfortably sit on our list of the best EA Play games.

What do you think? Would you like to see remakes of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
