Guilty Gear Strive achievements now live, have fun with the super-boss

By Luke Albigés,

Guilty Gear Strive launches into Xbox Game Pass today, and the achievements are now live — it's a relatively straightforward list, with the exception of one achievement for defeating a brutal super-boss.

While it wasn't live when the game first dropped into Game Pass earlier today, we now have the Guilty Gear Strive achievement list. There are 38 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore, 17 of which are secret (to reveal the details of the secret achievements, please use this link).

Much of the list is fairly simple, with a bunch of cumulatives for making full use of all of Arc's fighting game systems, but one achievement in particular is likely to cause some grief for a lot of players. Messiah Will Not Come is unlocked by beating the game's ultimate boss, and just reaching the super-boss requires you to clear Arcade mode on Extreme difficulty without dropping a single round. Manage this and you'll get to throw down with a powered-up version of the final boss who hits like a truck and has health for days, so you'll need to pull out all the stops to claim victory and grab Strive's hardest achievement.

Guilty Gear Strive joins the best games on Game Pass today, with Arc System Works' fighter being one of the very best in its field, and a stunner to boot. There are more Arc fighting games coming to Game Pass soon, too, with BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition set to follow Strive into the service shortly and hopefully pave the way for future Arc releases landing on Xbox at launch.

Planning on going for the completion now Guilty Gear Strive is available with Game Pass? Let us know!
