Metal Hellsinger DLC set to bring the noise in late March

By Tom West,

Prepare yourselves for another descent into the fiery pits of Hell because Dream of the Beast, the first DLC for Metal: Hellsinger is coming, and it packs in two metal vocalists that'll stop The Unknown in her tracks.

If Metal: Hellsinger wasn't already packing enough heat with its roster of vocalists, The Outsiders has upped the ante with the Dream of the Best DLC, which adds Lacuna Coil's Cristina Scabbia and Lorna Shore's Will Ramos to its hellish lineup. It's set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on March on March 29th, and comes loaded with a few extra goodies.

Metal: Hellsinger Dream of the Beast DLC coming to Xbox in March

We were excited when we originally found out that Metal: Hellsinger was one of the games coming to Game Pass, but seeing it receive additional content is even better. It doesn't sound like we're getting any new missions to play through, though, and instead, the two new songs performed by Scabbia and Ramos will be available to use from the new Song Selection feature coming alongside the DLC as a free update. Using the feature will give you the chance to replay the base game's levels to the beat of any track, offering up fresh experiences with it. On top of that, a new machine gun called The Red Right Hand will be added to your armoury alongside three new outfits for The Unknown, which will offer additional gameplay modifiers.

We're yet to learn of the price, but the Dream of the Beast DLC will require the base game of Metal: Hellsinger on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, or via Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass.

Will you be delving into the bowels of Hell to the melodic voice of Cristina Scabbia and the demonic growls of Will Ramos? Drop down below and scream about it, metal monsters!
