Microsoft has revealed the latest colourway for its collection of official Xbox controllers, and one that has overlooked subtlety for eye-watering colour: the Xbox Wireless Controller - Velocity Green.
There is green, there is Xbox Green, and then there is Velocity Green — a colour so green it could make the most environmentally conscious of us feel a little bit of shame just by gazing upon it. The Xbox Wireless Controller - Velocity Green is the next official offering for Microsoft calling for you to add it to your collection.

The Velocity Green colourway joins as part of the same collection housing the Shock Blue, Pulse Red, Deep Pink, and Electric Volt line of controllers. It's a standard Wireless Xbox Controller, so you can expect to find all of the usual bells and whistles on it. The latest iteration of controllers for Xbox Series X|S, which is compatible with Xbox One and PC, offers textured grips on the triggers and back, a hybrid D-pad, 3.5mm jack, the Share button, and around 40 hours of battery life.
If you do pick up this version and decide you'd like to complete the look, the Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand - Velocity Green is available for around $40.
