Bethesda has announced a new Starfield release date. Following a lengthy delay, Starfield will now launch on September 6th, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Starfield was originally supposed to launch last year in November, but Bethesda pushed back the release of its epic space RPG to the first half of 2023. Now, following another slight delay, we can expect the Starfield release date for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and join Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass to fall on September 6th.

In the release date trailer above, Bethesda also announced that a special Starfield Direct will take place on June 11th that will offer a deeper look at Starfield gameplay and more. In a separate announcement, Microsoft confirmed its Xbox summer showcase will take place on June 11th, with the Starfield Direct following shortly after.

When Starfield does launch, it will drop into Game Pass on day one. Be sure to check out our lengthy games coming to Game Pass article for more titles joining the service this year.
