Exoprimal July release date confirmed, joins Game Pass on day one

Capcom's showcase later today will feature the upcoming third-person dino shooter Exoprimal, which according to a new report will land on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in July. [Updated]

Update: Following a leak earlier today, an Xbox store listing has now confirmed that Exoprimal will launch on July 14th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Capcom also announced during its Capcom Spotlight that Exoprimal will join Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on day one.

Capcom's PvPvE dinosaur shooter Exoprimal will reportedly have its launch date announced later today. If you enjoyed Second Extinction when it was available alongside some of the best games on Game Pass and have been excited for another futuristic dinosaur game to sink your teeth into, it could be worth tuning into the Capcom Spotlight this evening.

Exoprimal reportedly launching on Xbox in July

According to InsiderGaming, Capcom will reportedly announce that Exoprimal will launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on July 14th. The publisher had already confirmed that the third-person dino shooter, which has Dino Crisis producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi involved, is part of the show's lineup, but the potential for a release date is exciting indeed.

The Capcom Spotlight will air on the publisher's YouTube and Twitch channels later today at 2:30pm PT / 5.30pm ET / 10:30pm GMT / 11:30pm CET, following the pre-show at 2:10pm PT / 5:10pm ET / 10:10pm GMT / 11:10pm CET. It's expected to last for around 30 minutes and include appearances from the Resident Evil 4 remake (with a Resident Evil 4 demo expected to drop during the show), Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, and more.
