Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will see a new dawn on Xbox in April

By Tom West,

Capcom has announced that the Sunbreak expansion will take players to Elgado Outpost in Monster Hunter Rise next month on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Announced during the Capcom Showcase, Sunbreak, the highly regarded expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, will launch on April 28th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It'll be compatible with the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass versions of the game as well, so buying into the extra content shouldn't be too much of a premium for many players.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak confirmed for Xbox

Set after the events in Monster Hunter Rise, Sunbreak takes us to Elgado Outpost to take down a whole host of new beasties, including the Three Lords: Garangolm, Malzeno, and Lunagaron, who're wreaking havoc on the kingdom. It's a massive expansion, packing in new abilities for every weapon, new and returning characters, and plenty of stories to get lost in.

Monster Hunter Rise is available alongside some of the best games on Game Pass and PC Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. If you don't subscribe to the service, you can actually pick it up in this week's Xbox sales for half price.
