Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Co-op Screens

By Andrew Ogley, 5 years ago
As we previously reported, the upcoming title, Warhammer 40000: Space Marine, will be receiving free DLC in the month of October, which will add a co-operative mode to the game.

The new game mode, "Exterminatus", will allow four players to take on the might of alien hordes in the name of the Emperor. There are two "Exterminatus" scenarios. In each, the players will be able to select one of the three Space Marine classes, and further select from the weapons and skills that are associated with that particular class.

If fighting hordes of alien enemies to the death is not difficult enough, the players will also be given dynamic in-game challenges to attempt, such as "Kill 10 Orks in 10 seconds", rewarding the successful players with extra lives and extra points that will be tracked on global leader boards.

To give an idea of what to expect during the "Exterminatus" mode, THQ have released a number of screenshots that show the gameplay and firefights of the co-op mode.
