Potentially leaked Starfield Xbox controller looks stellar

By Tom West,

Images of an apparent Starfield-themed Xbox Series X|S controller have been found, and while its authenticity is yet to be confirmed, there is no doubt that it's a lovely-looking controller.

Although the game and the Starfield achievements are still quite some time away, it looks like a potentially limited-edition controller could be revealed in the future as a user has posted the pictures online — and it's a nice-looking bit of kit.

Starfield Xbox Series X|S controller leak

The images posted by a user on Imgur were apparently found on the Chinese internet, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like any other details were revealed alongside them. Of course, these could have been designed by a hopeful player or an elaborate hoax by a talented troll, but seeing as the controller shown has some incredible detail, we'll remain optimistic that Bethesda will announce it soon. With a white background, the apparent Starfield Xbox controller sports a detailed finish that gives it an aesthetic similar to what we've seen from the game so far, and it wouldn't look too out of place on a spaceship's dashboard — do spaceships have dashboards? With a controller like this, they probably should.

We'd love to see this controller come as part of a white Starfield-themed Xbox Series X bundle akin to the limited-edition Halo Infinite bundle, but we'll just have to wait to see if Bethesda confirms or denies this controller's existence first. If you'd like to dive into some space goodness now, why not check out everything we know about the upcoming game and the Starfield release date?

What do you think about the design of this controller? Would you like to add it to your collection or just blast it out of our atmosphere? Drop a comment below and let us know!
