MGS: Peace Walker Will Feature Online Co-op

In early June, we reported that several classic (previously Playstation exclusive) Metal Gear Solid titles are set to arrive as a single collection on Xbox 360 this year... in HD.

The creator of the series, Hideo Kojima, has tweeted (more than once) that one of the titles in the collection, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, will have an online co-op feature which will allow up to four players to combine their skills over Xbox LIVE.

Here's what Hideo Kojima had to say:

Final co-op on “MGS PW” HD collection. By using infrastructure mode connection

4 people can co-op and it is 60 frames. During loading, characters’ dialogues pop up at random...
The announcement article showcases a couple of screenshots of the HD collection. Further screenshots were released in consecutive weeks during August. Footage specific to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker has also been released previously.

Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection is scheduled for retail release in November 2011.
