The rumour of a combined Devil May Cry collection featuring the original three titles is nothing new. There's been talk and hope of such a possibility for a while now. However, something new has come to light today which seems to be much more promising in terms of credibility of source.
The ERSB has re-categorised the original three games with a 'change of platform' tag. This means that Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening are no longer categorised as just 'PlayStation 2'; 'Xbox 360' now features in the platform category.
This may mean that the long rumoured HD Collection would not be a PS3 exclusive as first assumed, and Xbox owners may be able to join in the massacring too.
It's early days yet folks, but we'll keep our eyes and ears peeled and update you with any additional information as it leaks out.
