Update: After numerous leaks and rumors, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed Mirage releases on October 12 for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Ubisoft announced the release date with a new gameplay trailer you can check out below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNdpbE-JiKY&pp=ygUQYXNzY... Original story: While previous rumors have suggested an October launch, several Japanese retailers, including Amazon Japan, have now listed Assassin's Creed Mirage with an October 12 release date. Assassin's Creed Mirage release date listed as October 12 https://twitter.com/Renka_schedule/status/166136284872169062... According to Gematsu on Twitter, Japanese retailers don't tend to use placeholder dates, and they won't label a product with a release date unless it's official. Some are theorizing that we could see more on Mirage and its release date during tonight's PlayStation Showcase. Assassin's Creed Mirage is said to be similar to earlier Assassin's Creed games rather than huge RPGs like Odyssey and Valhalla. Mirage started out as an expansion for Valhalla, but Ubisoft ultimately decided to turn it into a standalone release that will offer a rich and dense map, meaning "more gameplay opportunities, more interactions between systems, more depth." Ubisoft has also noted that Mirage will focus more on stealth, parkour, and assassinations, like the earlier Assassin's Creed games. Are you looking forward to Assassin's Creed Mirage?
