FIFA 12 New Feature Video Released

Following hot on the heels of their recent action trailer, EA have released another video for their upcoming FIFA 12 title.

In this 'tutorial' video, English Football commentator Martin Tyler explains how players can "support" their team in weekly leagues using the experience points that they have accumulated during any particular week.

Each week, which constitutes a virtual season, teams will be promoted or relegated, based on the average XP achieved by their supporters during that week. As EA are keen to point out, it's about the average XP gained, so teams with a low fanbase can still compete with bigger supported teams such as Arsenal, the example team used in the video.

EA seem to be putting more emphasis on the fans each year, and I have to admit that I am impressed with their efforts with the new title. I've already pre-ordered the game, just so I can get a head start on my nine year old nephew who continues to beat me ever since he was six, but that's a whole different story.

FIFA 12 will kick-off in North America on September 27th and September 30th in Europe.
