Bloodrayne: Betrayal Delayed in Australia

By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
BloodRayne: Betrayal was supposed to be released worldwide on Xbox LIVE Arcade last Wednesday. Although most regions received the game as planned, the game never appeared on the Australian Marketplace. At the time, no reasons were forthcoming, but Xbox Australia has attempted to explain the delay... and managed to create more confusion in the process.

Xbox Australia had initially stated that the game was still undergoing classification. However, the Australian Government's classification website confirms that the game was rated at the end of last month. Bloodrayne: Betrayal also met its target release date on the Playstation Network in Australia.

Destructoid contacted Xbox Australia for further clarification:

The publisher reported having some issues but has been working on resolution. I don't have more detail than that.
Neither publisher Majesco Entertainment, nor developer WayForward, have commented on the delay. We'll be sure to bring you an update when we know more.
