Xbox Game Pass already has five games confirmed for July 2023

By Heidi Nicholas,

The Xbox Games Showcases during Summer Games Fest brought us a wave of Xbox Game Pass announcements, including several for next month, bringing us to a total of five games already confirmed for Game Pass in July.

The list of games coming to Game Pass is getting bigger and bigger, and thanks to all the showcases of the last week, five games in total so far have been confirmed to join or launch into Xbox Game Pass in July.

Sword and Fairy: Together Forever — July 6

Action-RPG Sword and Fairy: Together Forever joins Game Pass in early July, with a story about the Human, Deity, and Demon clans.

Exoprimal — July 14

Third-person dino shooter Exoprimal featured pretty prominently during the Summer Games Fest showcases, and is a day-one addition for Game Pass on July 14 when it'll see humans in exosuits going up against dinosaurs.

Techtonica — July 18

Then on July 18 we have factory automation game Techtonica, which is set underground on an alien planet. It launches into Early Access on Steam on the same day.

The Wandering Village — July 20

The Wandering Village joins Xbox Game Pass through Xbox Game Preview on July 20, and sees us attempting to build our village on the back of a giant creature called Onbu. We went into more detail on this one in our The Wandering Village interview with developer Stray Fawn Studio's co-founder and game designer Philomena Schwab.

Venba — July 31

Then on July 31 it's Venba time, with the narrative cooking game telling the story of an Indian mother in the 1980s who immigrates with her family to Canada.

We'll keep our eyes peeled for any more Xbox Game Pass announcements for July — in the meantime, which of July's Game Pass additions are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments!
