EA has released five new screenshots from The Sims 3: Pets, the sequel to The Sims 3, that is scheduled to be released this October as a stand-alone retail release.
Details of the game were first announced at this year's E3 along with a trailer, where it was revealed that pets will be fully controllable, and you will be able to select their individual traits.
Further details and a second trailer were released at Gamescom, where it was announced how The Sims 3: Pets will use the Kinect sensor's vocal recognition to issue commands such as sit down and be friendly.
The Sims 3: Pets is scheduled to be released on October 18th in North America and October 21st in Europe.
