Xbox Summer Spotlight live with "up to 20x more Rewards points" on select games

The Xbox Summer Spotlight is here for 2023 promising over 50 new games and preorders for Xbox over the next few weeks, a "huge sweepstakes," and more. [updated]

Update: The Summer Spotlight event for 2023 continues this week and seems to have been updated with a new wave of games. We've put the full list of included games below and will update it when there are new entries. Once more, the Xbox team shared a sneak peek of some of the included games (with a few titles, such as The Wandering Village and Venba, being already included with Xbox Game Pass) while the Summer Spotlight page lists still more.

Original story: The Xbox team has just announced the start of the Summer Spotlight event, which runs from today, July 27, until September 11. It promises to see over 50 new games and preorders for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in that time. As usual, you'll earn Microsoft Rewards points "for every dollar spent on eligible purchases," but Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will also get "up to 20x more reward points per dollar." Microsoft will also have a sweepstakes during Summer Spotlight with prizes including an Xbox Series X or Series S, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and more. The Xbox team mentions the Rewards app in the Xbox Store to see the Summer Spotlight Reward offers, but it doesn't seem to be live yet.

There will be over 50 new games and preorders going up during Summer Spotlight; more will be added every week, but the Xbox team offered a sneak peek of a few games included in the event (The Wandering Village is already included with Xbox Game Pass) while the Summer Spotlight page lists several more. More games will be added each week, and we'll update this list as Summer Spotlight continues.
