Round8 Studio, the developer behind the dark fantasy action-RPG based on Pinocchio, Lies of P, has said that Xbox Game Pass is a "thrilling opportunity."

Action-RPG, Lies of P, is set to bring its Soulslike gameplay to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on September 19. The game will also launch into the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass libraries on the same day, which developer Round 8 Studio has said is a "thrilling opportunity."

Speaking with Windows Central, Lies of P project director Jiwon Choi spoke about the game's upcoming arrival on Xbox Game Pass, calling it a "momentous occasion" for the team at Round 8 Studio. Choi does later add that the enthusiasm for Lies of P's launch into the service "comes with a mix of excitement and nervousness."

"Collaborating with Xbox has been an incredibly supportive and rewarding journey for us. Having our game launch on a platform with a massive global subscriber base is a thrilling opportunity," Choi said. "We understand this platform offers a tremendous reach, enabling us to engage with a wide and diverse audience of players from around the world."

Alongside Lies of P, other games coming to Game Pass in September include Bethesda's space-faring RPG Starfield, Payday 3, Party Animals, Cocoon, and more.
