The Call of Duty team has continued its efforts to root out cheaters over the past few years, and Activision has just recently banned over 14,000 accounts for cheating and hacking in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone.
A post from the Call of Duty updates team explained that "new detections directly targeting cheat developers at the source has led to over 14,000 account bans for cheating and hacking in Modern Warfare II and Warzone."

Late last year, Call of Duty banned 500,000 "toxic users" and outlined a new Code of Conduct, while the year before saw the reveal of the Ricochet anti-cheat system for Warzone and Vanguard.

Looking ahead, meanwhile, sees Season 5 arrive tomorrow, August 2, for Modern Warfare II and Warzone, while DMCA takedowns suggest this year's Call of Duty could be Modern Warfare 3.
