Rotastic Screenshots Show Multiplayer Modes

Focus Home Interactive's XBLA 2D arcade / puzzle game Rotastic is due to be released next week, but that hasn't stopped the publisher from releasing a handful of screenshots showcasing their multiplayer modes.

As well as working your way through nearly 70 single-player levels, players can team up with three friends or family members to do battle in local games. Collect Mode sees players trying to avoid deadly traps while trying to collect as many gems as possible. However, your opponents will be trying to collect more than you too! Points Mode sees players competing for the highest score by collecting jewels and pulling complicated stunts and acrobatics. Alternatively, you could send your friends plummeting to their doom, as that gets you points too.

If sending your friends to their deaths is definitely the thing that you enjoy the most, then perhaps Deathmatch Mode is the one for you. Cut their ropes or point them in the direction of numerous lethal traps, but the effect has to be the same if you want to win.

Rotastic is due to be released on September 21st and will cost 800 MSP.
