Brotherhood Achievement Challenge Now Live

By Michelle Balsan, 7 years ago
Way back in June, we took some time to inform you all of the various community events going on around TrueAchievements. One of the ongoing events featured therein was the Brotherhood Achievement Challenge- a gamerscore fueled event that would see the winners claiming a combined $10,000 in prizes. Now, our friends over at 360v have made the challenge live, and registration is open to everyone, so don't worry about your region being left out.

So what is the Brotherhood Achievement Challenge? You can get the full details here, but here's the gist of it. Gamers can create or join brotherhoods that will contain a maximum of forty gamers. During the period of the contest, which runs from September 20th through October 20th, it is up to you and the members of your brotherhood to earn as much gamerscore as you can in Gears of War 3.

In addition to the brotherhood portion of the contest, there's an individual portion that rewards those who are the top recruiters during the event. As both Gold and Silver players are eligible to compete, recruiters earn three points for every Gold member recruited and one point for every Silver. In order for your recruits to count toward your total, they have to earn at least 1G in Gears 3 if they're Gold, or 50G in Gears 3 if they're Silver.

You can check out both the list of brotherhoods and the recruitment leaderboard over here.

TrueAchievements already has at least one full brotherhood and undoubtedly several of you are already participating, but let's really get out there and show those other sites with official brotherhoods what we're made of. Certainly the ability to easily organize gaming sessions for Gears of War 3 will go a long way toward helping the winning crew.

While Gears 3 does arrive around the world this Tuesday, September 20th, recruitment for's Brotherhood Achievement Challenge will be open until October 10th. Feel free to recruit in the thread below and best of luck to all who enter the challenge! If you have any further questions, go ahead and check out the Brotherhood Achievement Challenge FAQ posted on 360voice. Also be aware that you do have to have an account with 360v, which you can set up for free over here.
