Disney Universe New World Unveiled

By Rebecca Smith, 5 years ago
Last Monday was the international Talk Like a Pirate Day. Instead of talking like a pirate, some gamers settled for gaining the Arr... badge in Saints Row 2 instead. Disney Interactive Studios has created their own little celebration, and decided to reveal the Pirates of the Caribbean world for their upcoming title, Disney Universe.

The game features environments and character costumes inspired by Walt Disney and Pixar films. So far there has been characters and costumes unveiled for Lion King, Wall-E, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Lilo and Stitch, Alice In Wonderland, Tron: Legacy and the traditional Disney stalwarts, such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Here are the latest costumes:

Players will find themselves on the Thames River and travelling through the city streets of London as they attempt to find the Fountain of Youth. When you add cannons to help fend off enemy pirate ships, water bombs to try and prevent a repeat of the Great Fire of London and rubber duck vehicles for players to use, you get complete and utter chaos.
