Need For Speed: The Run Story Trailer

By Mark Delaney, 7 years ago
EA's long-running racing series, Need For Speed, continues this fall with its 18th installment, and as you may have heard by now, it's going in a slightly different direction. The Run will be just the second game in the series rated T by the ESRB (PEGI: 12; ACB: PG). Also, the game will include some much-discussed on-foot sequences that use quicktime events. Still, EA Blackbox, developer of nine different Need For Speed games, promises the game is still focused on racing.

The game's title comes from the epic cross-country race that the protagonist, Jack, is trying to win as he makes his way across the US - from San Francisco to New York City. This trailer focuses on that story and details just how high the stakes are for Jack and the other participants.

Need For Speed: The Run races into stores on November 15th in the US, November 17th in Australia, and November 18th in Europe.
