If you've been wondering about the "better online experience" for upcoming XBLA release NBA JAM: On Fire Edition
that we detailed
back in July, then you need wonder no longer. In their second producer video, Game Producer Cody Sawatsky gives you a quick rundown of the online experience in the upcoming game.
Here's a quick summary of the video for those who can't watch it:
• Online progression is now locked to the player instead of a specific team. Games, challenges and other actions will earn you Jam Bucks, the game's equivalent of XP and cash.
• The new campaign mode, Road Trip, allows players to play co-op either offline or online and complete challenges against all 30 NBA teams.
• Arena Mode is an online tournament where players aim to climb to the top of a rankings ladder. The ladder resets every seven days.
For those who missed it, the first producer video
discussed the impact of fan feedback on the development of this edition.NBA JAM: On Fire Edition
is due to be released on October 5th and will cost 1200 MSP.
