New Disney Universe Character Artwork

If you're a fan of the LEGO games, you may find enjoyment in the upcoming kiddie-platformer, Disney Universe. The game's design borrows (steals) from the LEGO series heavily, but still looks to offer up its own imaginative world to play with.

These new pieces of character art exemplify the ability to dress your character up in costumes from 40 different Disney - and, thankfully, Pixar - franchises. So far some of the worlds and costumes to be confirmed are Alice in Wonderland, WALL-E, The Lion King, and Pirates of the Caribbean, among others. These three new shots showcase Tinkerbell, Tangled, and Little Mermaid costumes.

Allow me to step back from my journalistic duties for a moment and mention that anything Toy Story-related makes me giddy. So I'm really waiting for the inevitable confirmation of that franchise's inclusion in the game.

Which setting are you looking forward to?

You can jump into the world of Disney when Disney Universe releases on October 25th in North America and October 28th in Europe.
