Rugby Challenge Gets European Release Date

By Keith Gray, 7 years ago
Alternative Software has given forthcoming rugby game, [Jonah Lomu's] Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge, a European release date of October 14th, 2011.

This positive announcement follows the recent news stories surrounding rugby legend Jonah Lomu's poor state of health. The new-found positivity continues, as it has been revealed that the extra development time has been used to "polish certain game play elements even further". In addition, more options have been added to help the title compete with rival rugby simulation, Rugby World Cup 2011.

Rugby Challenge looks set to out do its rival in one respect at least - with an extensive range of official licences. Rugby World Cup 2011 features official international teams. However, Rugby Challenge will build upon that by flaunting license agreements for several European leagues, including the Aviva Premiership, as well as the US Eagles.

Previously, we have reported that Rugby Challenge will be being published by Mad Catz in North America.
