MS Looks for Fall Dashboard Update Preview Testers

By Michelle Balsan, 7 years ago
It's that time of year again, people. Microsoft is just about ready to roll out a new dashboard update and needs us, the members of the Xbox LIVE community, to help them run some final tests on the system.

Major Nelson posted the details on his blog today about the program. Specifically, the update will be used to test the following features:

New design with integrated Kinect voice and gesture controls
Facebook Sharing
Cloud Storage for Game Saves and Xbox LIVE Profile
If you're interested in signing up for the public preview, head over here to register. You'll be happy to note that the process for applying has been streamlined, so you no longer need to be next to your console to get any ID numbers off of it.

Applicants should know within a couple of weeks whether or not they've been chosen to participate in the program. Good luck to all those who apply!

Thanks to everyone who sent this one in!
