Retail Releases: Week of October 17th, 2011

By Perpalicious,
Saying that a superhero video game is going to be successful is akin to a Hummer with incredible gas mileage: it just isn't real.

In 2009, Rocksteady Studios showed people what's up by releasing their now critically acclaimed game, Batman: Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360). Ever since, gamers have been waiting for the sequel, Batman: Arkham City (Xbox 360). Wait no longer, young padawans. Arkham City makes its worldwide debut this week.

Prefer a more realistic game? Then be sure to buy the newest addition to the Sims series, The Sims 3 Pets, which has Kinect capabilities.

As alway, if these games don't commingle with your personality then check out the other releases below.
