By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
There was disappointing news for Europeans on the official Metal Gear Solid Facebook page over the weekend. The Metal Gear Solid HD collection has been delayed across the region and will no longer be arriving in 2011. Here is the official statement:

In our effort to bring the best possible Metal Gear Solid experience to our loyal fans, we must unfortunately announce a slight delay for the release of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the European market.

Metal Gear HD Collection, featuring remastered versions of Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, will be arriving on PS3 and Xbox360 in February 2012. Thank you for your patience as we strive to bring you your favorite Metal Gear titles in 1080P and 60 frames-per-second!

There is no news on a delay for other regions, so it is safe to assume that the game will still be arriving in November 2011 in North America, Asia and Australasia. We have details on the Limited Edition here.
