While gamers have had a few days to learn how to properly demolish enemy territory with an M1 Abrams, EA and DICE have been working on the expansion pack that comes free with all new copies of Battlefield 3
, "Back to Karkand". The map pack, as you probably know, is a blast from DICE's past, recreating four maps from Battlefield 2
. New weapons specific to BF2 will also be available upon downloading the extra content.
This set of five screens proves the new maps are just as destructible and expansive as the current maps.
EA also announced a release window for the map pack, saying gamers can expect it available sometime in December. Consider it some holiday cheer from your favorite multi-billion dollar gaming company, which I guess makes the sporadic server issues their idea of trick-or-treating.Battlefield 3
is available everywhere now.
