It's not even been a month since we brought you word of the announcement
of Starfire Studios' upcoming XBLA title, Fusion: Genesis
. We've already showered you with screens
from Fusion: Genesis
, but until now, we didn't have much in the way of information for Fusion: Sentient (WP)
, the Windows Phone 7 sister title to Genesis
. Now, we have some new details to share.Sentient
is being developed by Wahoo studios, whom you may better know as NinjaBee, and unlike Genesis
, it is a third-person strategy game. "Sentients" are creatures who are loyal to your ship, and the WP7 title allows you to power-up that creature before exporting him in to the XBLA Fusion
title. You can even gift or exchange your Sentients with friends in the WP7 and XBLA games.
This isn't the first game to feature Xbox-to-WP7 connectivity, as Kinectimals (WP)
has now been re-released
on the Marketplace and allows users to transfer animals between platforms. While Full House Poker (WP)
was the first game to connect the Xbox game to the WP7 iteration, Fusion
is the first mobile Xbox LIVE game to allow trading between players, not just platforms.
Both Fusion: Genesis
and Fusion Sentient
will launch on their respective platforms next Wednesday, November 9th. Genesis
will cost 800 MSP, and Sentient
will set you back $2.99.
