Both Upcoming Silent Hill Games Dated

Konami announced today that the Silent Hill HD Collection as well as the recently delayed Silent Hill: Downpour will both be released early in the new year.

The HD Collection, which includes Silent Hill 2 and 3, will hit stores first on January 24th. Not too long after, the newest console continuation of the franchise, Downpour will be released sometime in March. No official release date was given beyond the month.

Konami didn't specify whether these dates were region specific, but the January 24th date is a Tuesday, which would match up with a typical North American release and possibly mean Europe and Australia will get them at the end of the week. Though, as I said, that part is not yet confirmed.

If you can't wait for your vacation to that quaint little town, you can can check out our previous coverage of either game; here for the HD collection and here for Downpour.
