Just last week we covered the news of Joe Danger Special Edition being listed on the Korean Game Ratings Board for Xbox 360, pointing to signs that the 2010 PSN exclusive Joe Danger would be making the leap to a Microsoft platform.
Today, we have confirmation from developer Hello Games that Joe Danger Special Edition will be flying on to the XBLA marketplace this holiday season. This is great news as the PSN title was met with much critical and commercial acclaim. The Special Edition offers "a lot of content", including plenty of exclusive features specifically for the Xbox rendition. There's over 30 hours of gameplay for those shooting for 100% completion.
As you may have gathered from the screens, Joe Danger is a fun and vibrant stunt bike platformer. Don't let the cheerful look deceive you though, as some of the levels are tough as nails.
Hello Games' Sean Murray even admitted that the original may have been a bit too challenging. "Joe Danger was well received and everything, but my god there were things we didn't like about it. There were places where it was actually pretty frustrating or confusing to play, and I really think we've ironed that out." Murray told Eurogamer. While you can still expect a challenge, it seems to have been ironed out and balanced just a bit.
Joe Danger Special Edition is eyeing a Holiday 2011 release.
