Retail Releases: Week of November 7th, 2011

If there ever was a week where gamers will scramble their minds in an attempt to choose between games, this week is that week.

More than five years ago, gamers were graced with one of the most successful Western RPGs, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Fans have been patiently waiting for the sequel, seeing what adventures Bethesda could bestow upon us mere mortals. Wait no longer, grasshoppers. On November 11th, gamers worldwide will be able to purchase Bethesda's next title in The Elder Scrolls series, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

But there may be a conflict of interest, a serious one at that. Two short (or long) years ago, Infinity Ward released their ultra popular, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Two years later, Infinity Ward, Raven Software, and Sledgehammer are releasing the next instalment in the Modern Warfare series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which looks to continue the pattern of setting and breaking records like it's nobody's business.

While some people are deciding whether they're team Skyrim or team MW3, you have a big chunk of gamers who are waiting for something that is arguably more monumental, the Xbox 360 release of Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

So what team are you playing for?
