Kalypso Media Digital Ltd, publishers of Tropico 4
, have announced a new worldwide publishing deal with Enigma Software Productions, for a new and exciting IP coming to XBLA entitled Alien Spidy
. The game is described as a "challenging platform adventure game set in a visually stunning 2D/3D environment with gameplay mechanics based on controlled physics".
Jonathan Hales, Managing Director of Kalypso Media Digital commented on the announcement saying:
We are delighted to be working with Enigma, and to unveil Alien Spidy to the gaming community. Enigma’s high-quality titles have been well-received, and Alien Spidy is a perfect title for Kalypso’s digital product portfolio as we build our business and tailor our focus towards the ever-changing digital gaming landscape.

Does anyone one else think the colourful backdrops and black foreground seem very reminiscent of another recent XBLA title, namely Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
is currently scheduled for release sometime in Q2 2012.
