CoD Elite Premium Memberships Extended 30 Days

By litepink, 7 years ago
While the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has gone largely without issue, the companion Call of Duty ELITE service has not been so fortunate. Only a lucky few have been able to access the service, and not all of available features have been functioning for those fortunate enough to even register.

The service was overwhelmed with volume upon launch, crushing the login and registration systems. While the login issues have now been resolved, the service's extraordinary demand is crashing servers, so the status of the service is still intermittent. Users should be able to see their player card and stats, but recent matches and career summary may not be showing. Activision and Beachhead Studios assure that your stats are being properly stored, and that when ELITE is fully operational, all your stats will be completely in tact.

The Call of Duty ELITE team understands your frustration, and are working non-stop to bring you the premium and free versions of ELITE up to snuff:

Our top priority and sole focus is delivering the best possible service experience to our gamers and we’re sorry we’re off to a rocky start with Elite. We will not rest until Elite delivers the full set of features we promised you. We are committed to Call of Duty Elite for the long haul and are working around the clock to resolve these issues. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
While fessing up to their bumpy start and saying sorry is great and all, it doesn't make up for paying customer's lost time. Therefore, Activision and Beachhead are extending premium memberships by thirty days, in addition to expanding the window of time to gain 'Founder' status.

To ensure that every premium member receives their full money’s worth, we are immediately and automatically extending your membership to Call of Duty Elite by 30 days at no additional cost. If you’re still considering becoming a premium member, we’re going to extend Founder eligibility until the end of the month, and you will also receive the additional 30 days of access.
With some time, the Call of Duty ELITE service should be fully operational. Check out our previous coverage detailing the free and premium memberships to see what you're missing out on.
