North American gamers who were beginning to get a little frustrated by the sudden wealth of European-exclusive Limited and Collector's Editions can now feel at least a tiny bit better as Square Enix has revealed that Europe's Collector's Edition for their upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be receiving a North American Counterpart.

The North American Collector's Edition will include a 4-disc soundtrack and a full-color concept art collection that includes art from the making of FFXIII-2. Those items and the game will come in packaging which features the artwork of Yoshitaka Amano, who has been drawing art for the series since its inception.

Final Fantasy XIII-2, the direct sequel to last year's Final Fantasy XIII, will be released on January 31st, 2012 in North America and February 3rd, 2012 in Europe. Don't forget that you still have plenty of time to get in on the US exclusive pre-order incentives.

Thanks to reader Big Ell for pointing out that the collection will cost $79.99. You can check out the package over at Amazon or GameStop.
