GTASC 2 Sign-Ups Extended

By Michelle Balsan, 7 years ago
Hey there, TAers. Hope you all had a nice, restful weekend. Perhaps one full of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

I just want to take a moment to remind you not to score those points too quickly as, the second Great TrueAchievement Score Challenge is fast approaching! Initially, sign-ups were scheduled to end tomorrow, but since there's still space for a few more teams, the sign-up period is being extended.

Here's more from event organizer, planting42:
We've received a lot of great applications for the 2012 GTASC, however we haven't quite reached the 100 teams we planned to have to make 2-team eliminations every week for the length of the contest. Because of this we've decided to extend the application deadline. Applications will continue to be accepted until Monday, Nov 21st. If we still have not received 100 team applications by this date, we'll extend signups for one more week; until Nov 28th.

If after two extension periods we can't place 100 teams, we'll be dropping the number of teams accepted into the contest. That number will be based on the total number of confirmed team applications. Should we start the contest with less than 100 teams, we'll start with removing only one team per week until such time that removing two teams per week makes mathematical sense to end the contest on the proper week.
So there you have it, folks! Get your team of five together and submit your application if you want to be part of what promises to be an intense competition in the new year. Or, you can go ahead and sign up solo if you want to be placed on a team.
