Halo: Reach Anniversary Map Pack Released

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary released today, but 343 Industries didn't want to restrict the tenth anniversary celebrations to one game. Today, the "Halo: Reach - Anniversary Map Pack" was also released, containing new playlists, seven new maps and a range of tweaks and gameplay updates; for more details on these, check out Friday's coverage. There are seven new achievements worth a total of 250G in the "Anniversary Map Pack" DLC itself, but a further three achievements worth a total of 50G have also been added to the "Defiant Map Pack" DLC. The new achievements now take the "Defiant" total to six achievements worth 200G.

Celebrating ten years of Halo, the Anniversary Map Pack comprises seven of the most popular multiplayer maps in Halo history, beautifully reimagined in high definition for Halo: Reach (note that you must have Halo: Reach to play this map pack). Six classic competitive multiplayer maps and a new Firefight mission take you back to your favorite locations from early Halo games, now with the gameplay intensity of Halo: Reach. The Anniversary Map Pack includes seven new achievements and 250 gamerscore.
The "Anniversary Map Pack" is included on the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary game disc. The game also includes a download code for players to be able to use the maps in Halo: Reach at no further cost. For those of you who aren't intending on buying Halo: CE Anniversary, the map pack costs 1200 MSP and can be downloaded from here.
