Pid Announced - A New XBLA Game

By Mark Delaney, 7 years ago
Rookie developer Might and Delight has unveiled their first ever project, Pid, a 2D puzzle-platformer with some very artsy visuals. Where preferred the minimalist color palette of black, white, and gray, Pid seems to prefer blue, green, and pink. The trailer also shows off some two-player co-op, which will surely be a selling point for many.

The development team at Might & Delight had emerged out of the closed down GRIN Studios. They had this to say about the upcoming title:

When a young schoolboy gets stranded on a remote old planet, a unique and eccentric journey unfolds. His search for a way off the planet takes him through citys and castles, attics and space stations on this dreamlike yet dangerous world. Along the way he outsmarts a variety of malicious robots bent on stopping him and befriends unlikly allies that shed light on a huge conspiracy, that keeps the planet mesmerized and prevents him from ever reaching home.

Pid is our 'nod' to old platforming adventure games and, its action packed challenges and mindtwisting puzzles ultimately test the players creative ability and platforming skills. Learn more about the game, watch videos and screenshots at the Pid website,
The trailer indicates a 2012 release date, but Might and Delight said to expect it in the back half of the year, rather than sometime earlier on.
